Baby2Baby provides low-income children ages 0-12 with diapers, clothing, and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. By distributing to non-profit partner organizations including homeless and domestic violence shelters, Head Start programs, foster care, and children's hospitals, Baby2Baby will serve more than 150,000 children in Los Angeles and thousands more through their National Network this year.
La Casa De Las Madres is a refuge and beacon of hope for survivors of violence that often have nowhere else to turn. Last year 434 child and adult survivors found safety and refuge at their confidential emergency shelter in San Francisco. In addition, La Casa's mission is to respond to calls for help from domestic violence survivors 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Last year they responded to over 8,800 calls from survivors and their allies and 4,434 survivors of all ages engaged in direct services including counseling, case management, and advocacy. La Casa seeks to prevent future violence by educating the community and by redefining public perceptions about domestic violence.
